BLURB:

Tristan Todorov, formerly one of the best scholars at the legendary and sinister Scholomance school of magic, was cast out and now travels alone through Eastern Europe offering discreet services as an unlicensed magician. In a luxurious hotel in Prague where he’s been invited to investigate a suspicious series of suicides, he’s about to meet someone who will make him remember the darkest secret of his past.
Will a night of lust soothe Tristan—or will it stir up something evil and dangerous, something he’s tried so desperately to forget?
.

Tristan Todorov is a mage, he works alone and travels from town to town helping his clients to get rid of their problems (meaning demons).
He comes to Prague for a job when he meets an Incubus who forces him to face his fears and secrets.

This book is a short story but well written, very well written.

Tristan is haunted by his past, his deepest secrets. He lives a lonely life, no lover, no friends, just him and his pain. Until he met Jarek, the incubus.

I love their interactions, I love the fact that Jarek, as an incubus, takes Tristan’s form. His exact replica. So when they had sex, I found this moment poetic and full of meaning (No It’s not weird to be fucked by oneself). Tristan needs to be loved, but in order to do that, he needs to love himself first. Here the author wrote it literally and figuratively. I loved it!
Like I said it’s a short story, but the plot is good, and I hope the next book will come out soon, and longer too.

3 OptimuMM’s for the Mage and the Incubus.

***I would like to thank the author for the privilege and opportunity of reading this ARC. My review is an honest opinion of the book ***
